【What are you talking ABOUT? 你說什麼你？】
大家知道我們常說 talking about：
We usually talk about sports.
She likes to talk about her boyfriends.
可能是因為這樣，很多人好像以為任何關於”說話”的詞彙都會接 about. 錯！最可惡的「慣犯」是 discuss （討論）以及 mention （提到）。
X We discussed about politics. （politics = 政治）
√ We discussed politics.
discuss 沒有 about!
discuss 沒有 about!

練習造句：
We discussed the best way to study English.
I don’t want to discuss it!
We discussed how to solve the company’s problems.

Mention 也是一樣！
X She mentioned about her hometown.
√ She mentioned her hometown.

He mentioned his previous job. （previous = 以前的）
I mentioned that I’d been there before.
Mention 後面可以加個句子（像上面那句），可說 that 也可不說，但還是不會說 about!
